Peter McClellan : ウィキペディア英語版 | Peter McClellan
Peter David McClellan, , is a Judge of the New South Wales Court of Appeal, the highest court in the State of New South Wales, Australia, which forms part of the Australian court hierarchy. He was appointed to the position in February 2013. McClellan is the Chief Royal Commissioner of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse since January 2013. He was previously the Chief Judge in Common Law in the Supreme Court, a position to which he was appointed in 2005. ==Early life and education== McClellan received his secondary school education at the public Normanhurst Boys' High School. Fellow Supreme Court Justice Ian Harrison (who also attended the school) said that, "that school was instrumental in assisting your Honour to overcome adolescent difficulties you had with low esteem, lack of confidence and self doubt". McClellan comes from an extremely close family on Sydney's north shore - with his parents, brothers and sister - all leading similarly productive, high-profile community-centered adult lives. McClellan later studied arts and law at, and graduated with B.A. and LL.B. from, the University of Sydney.
